Pretty circular studs in oxidised sterling silver with a 23.5 carat gold front.  The brushed gold finish gives a subtler contrast with the matt black of the oxidised silver back and sides.  I love this softer, textured finish to the gold which provides interest to the simple style of these earrings. 
 
The gold foil is bonded to the silver using a technique called keum boo, which uses heat to permanently fuse the two metals together.  
 
Your handmade stud earrings will come on a stylish grey earring card.
 
As with all my silver jewellery, these stud earrings are handmade by me from recycled silver, with recycled gold foil, so if shopping ethically is important to you, you know your purchase will be both environmentally friendly supporting a small, creative British business.  My postage and packaging materials are also recycled and recyclable - no unwanted plastic here!

  • Care of your Silver and Gold Jewellery

    Oxidisation is a surface technique which colours the outer layer of the silver and so can wear away as it is touched/rubbed over time.  The black finish can be refreshed as many times as needed, and I am happy to offer a touch up service free of charge (you would just need to post it to me) at any time.  

    However, caring for and storing your jewellery appropriately will stop the colour wearing away quickly/at all.  Remove your jewellery before excercising or showering, and ideally before going to bed as well.  Protect your jewellery from other items by storing them in the box they come in, or a soft bag would be fine.  Do not to polish oxidised jewellery as this would remove the oxidisation.  The gold can be gently polished with a soft cloth if needed.

  • Returns

    If you are not happy with your purchase, or wish to return it for any reason, please get in touch and I will be happy to help.

    I offer refunds within 14 days of delivery and exchanges up to 30 days (if it is a gift at Christmas for example, I will extend this to 14 and 30 days from receipt of the gift - so mid January for a refund and end of January for an exchange).

    If your jewellery breaks (this is very rare!) do get in touch and I can either replace or fix it for you. 

    I am a small independant business so am flexible and will always work with you to ensure you are happy.

  • SHIPPING

    I make every effort to ship items as quickly as possible. If you need something in a rush or by a certain date please let me know and I will make your order a priority. You will receive an email with your tracking number once your order has been shipped.

    I am a one woman business and mum working part time so typically:

     

    ~ If I have something in stock I aim to ship it within 1 day of receiving an order

     

    ~ If I don't have it in stock and need to make your item I aim to make and post it within 5 days, often much sooner.

     

    ~ If it is a custom piece such as a ring made to size it may need hallmarking which can take longer - I will contact you to advise on a delivery date, but I aim to complete these in around 2 weeks.
