This unusual round wood and resin pendant is part of the 'Jungle Book' collection. Laser cut from solid walnut wood, it is intersected with a piece of brass tubing which allows the long red silk cord the pendant is strung on to run through it. The bottom section of the wood circle is filled with clear resin, within which a drawing of Shere Khan the tiger is suspended.
The wood is waxed and the resin and brass polished to a high shine to give the whole necklace a beautiful finish. You can shorten the red silk cord by pulling on the two gold bead at the top.
Your Shere Khan necklace will come presented in a stylish grey and gold logo stamped jewellery box made from recycled board.
'Lungri' Shere Khan Walnut and Silk necklace
Part of the 'Jungle Book' Collection
This piece of jewellery is part of the 'Jungle Book' collection, inspired by the original text by Rudyard Kipling.
If your necklace looses it's shine over time, just polish gently with a soft cloth and all purpose house hold polish - myBearHands recommends 'Peek'.
To ensure you don't damage the silk cord in the process, it's best to wrap the ends attached to the pendant in something like clingfilm or paper and tape whilst you are using any polish on the pendant itself.
